ZIP model

Felix Zajitschek - BEES - UNSW
Hi,
I was just looking for an example of how to use a zero-inflated Poisson
model in SPSS, but couldn't find anything. Could anyone give me a hint
where to look, or better, has already used this model in SPSS?
Cheers, Felix

Re: ZIP model

Anthony Babinec
Don't know about a straightforward way to do it in SPSS.
You can do the ZIP model - including mixture forms of
the model - in Latent Gold.

Hi Felix..I've tested a zero-inflated in Poisson model in Mplus, but SPSS (unless someone has created a macro) doesn't have it as part of their standard package..however, possibly with the new Generalized Linear Model option coming with SPSS 15.0, possibly that will be an option....dale
