Hi,
I was just looking for an example of how to use a zero-inflated Poisson model in SPSS, but couldn't find anything. Could anyone give me a hint where to look, or better, has already used this model in SPSS? Don't know about a straightforward way to do it in SPSS.
You can do the ZIP model - including mixture forms of the model - in Latent Gold. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Felix Zajitschek - BEES - UNSW Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2006 9:02 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: ZIP model Hi, I was just looking for an example of how to use a zero-inflated Poisson model in SPSS, but couldn't find anything. Hi Felix..I've tested a zero-inflated in Poisson model in Mplus, but SPSS (unless someone has created a macro) doesn't have it as part of their standard package..however, possibly with the new Generalized Linear Model option coming with SPSS 15.0, possibly that will be an option....dale
