have a basic question

Hello all:

 

I have a basic question on the Data View.

 

How can I ‘freeze’  my first column so it will stay while I scroll through all my other columns?

Right click on the variable name à Pin selected columns. At least with v12.

Just inside the right margin of the data window grab the thin bar and drag or use Window > Split).
