Does anyone know of a non-technical reading on regression (for example Ordinary least square regression)?
Thanks

Jacob Cohen's popular textbook is popular for a reason.

Another very clear treatment can be found in
Friedman, Pisani, & Purves "Statistics, 3rd Edition" in Part III "Correlation & Regression" ... Mark Miller On 2012-08-28 8:47 PM, Rich Ulrich

Technicality is in the eye of the beholder.
The chapter on regression in The Cartoon Guide to Statistics is very good. You could also check to see if Jerry Dallal's notes (http://www.jerrydallal.com/LHSP/LHSP.htm) are at an appropriate level. HTH.

Very tough question.
Some students may benefit from a geometric approach, rather than the algebraic black box. Dunteman, G. H. (1984). Introduction to linear models. Beverly Hills: Sage Publications. Saville, D. J., Wood, G. R. (1996). Statistical methods: a geometric primer.
