Occassionally during a program run on a very large data base I need to stop
the process and start over (user error). Short of using Windows TaskMaster to stop and close SPSS, is there a better way? ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. Ctrl+period still works but if SPSS is in a tight compute loop of some sort
it takes a while for it actually pay attention to the stop processor event ;-) A Windows interrupt is much more assertive. -----Original Message----- From: SPSSX(r) Discussion [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Mark Webb Sent: Monday, June 08, 2009 9:09 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: stop compiler from completing Ctrl + Point[dot] used to do it.
