A colleague just shared with me some output generated in v.25 (.spv). I tried
opening it on my machine (v26) and the output would not render. Was wondering if should be able to view v25 output in v26 or whether version conflict would prevent. Ultimately was able to use her .html markdown as a roundabout, but still would like to know the answer to the above at any rate. -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. That should absolutely work even if one was Mac and the other Windows. On Mon, Apr 20, 2020 at 2:40 PM J.D. Haltigan <[hidden email]> wrote: A colleague just shared with me some output generated in v.25 (.spv). I tried |
Any idea why the plot wouldn't render, Jon? Perhaps my colleague didn't save
the output file correctly, but I don't know how that could be the case. It opens, just no plot. Seems weird. -- Sent from: http://spssx-discussion.1045642.n5.nabble.com/ ===================== To manage your subscription to SPSSX-L, send a message to [hidden email] (not to SPSSX-L), with no body text except the command. You are right, as per the last paragraph of this information from IBM-- spv files should be upward compatible: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/compatibility-spss-files-sav-sps-spv-spo-between-different-versions
